How to get started with blogger

Blogging is really fun!..if you enjoy writing and stuff!.I personally love blogging as it is easy for me to convey what I think in my mind without the need to talk!..I find talking really hard but though it is not a so hard for me..Blog is much easier than writing articles if you guys are not sure about what is the major difference between article writing and blogging..here it is! Article writing is more of technical and formal..but blogging is quite friendly and it can be in your own language and style!It is okay to have mistakes and errors but in article writing mistakes should never arrive and it should be perfect with grammar and punctuation!



And here in this post I will be sharing with you all how to get started off with blogger!..Blogger is an amazing tool from google which really helps a lot of us who wants to start blogging! and some of their pros and cons that I would like to highlight here  so stay till the end of this post!

It is really simple and totally FREE to start your blogging journey! because it takes no time and effort to set up your own personal website! there are so many features available in this free tool!





First and foremost you will need a google account in order to create a blog with blogger.




Once you sign up and create your mail id open blogger and once you get inside it will ask you what is your blog's name and domain of it.blogger gives you free domain but it has it's limitation.That is your free domain will have yoursitename.blogspot.com  and if you want you can even configure the site with your own domain name that you have purchased with domain provider(ex.godaddy,namecheap..etc)..I have also made a video on this you can check that one if you want!


After checking the free domain availability you will end up in the dashboard!where you will have access to 

  • post
  • page
  • stats
  • comments
  • monetization
  • layout,
  • theme and 
  • settings 






Post:

Post is the tab where you will be able to add your new blog posts.The user face is really simple and easy it you can easily understand it when you just enter!As you can see on the image bottom right corner has a circle button with plus(+) symbol is where you have to click to create a new post!


once you click it you will get redirected to this page where you can type and edit your blog post title and content!You have so many options and tools to edit your post however you can.You can add image,insert videos from YouTube or you can just upload a video from your computer,add quotes,Edit text styles..etc.Once you are done click publish(send arrow button).

Page:

Here you can create new pages like I have made in my blog as you can see on top I have made Home and Blog on top of the bar!..you can also create something like that!..create as many pages you want and make it visible in the layout tab!


Stats:

Stats is where you will get view details and stuff.You will get all the analytics of your blog in that section.For more details of your view counts and other analytics connect your blog to google webmaster tool and Google analytics.The stats will give you most of the information you need!it gives you geographical data of your traffic,from where they are coming from,What was the bounce rate,daily stats,monthly stats and yearly etc...


Comments:

You will obviously be knowing this! people commenting to your post will appear here!..you an allow or block comments if you want in the settings!


Monetization:

This is the place where you are most benefited by your blog!Your earnings on daily basis is listed here after enabling monetization.When the monetization is enable your blog will have adds from google.So you are going to earn money from the ads placed on your blog!



Layout:

Layout is the section where you can edit your home page layout.You can add whatever widget you want and change it according to your theme of your blog!




Theme:

Here is where you an edit and choose your theme of your blog!. The theme is nothing but your blogs appearance.So this is what important for you to choose an attractive one to make your audience welcoming and stay for a while.


Settings:

As you guys would have guessed it by the name and it is usually only.Settings is where you can change your blogs identity,edit favicon(small image seen in the search bar),seo,blog description..etc..


So guys it is a great way to start a blog for free in blogger and it's interface is simple and elegant to get started right away! use the chance and make your passion in to career!
